I think he didn't use nearly enough apostrophe's in his rant. The speeling was... interesting, too. image

He should just come here and start rant threads to rant image

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

  • I would love to hear the whole story -
Many buy and sell transactions. Let's talk!

What's this forum coming to? Nobody seething about the high cost of shipping and running off to report it. UNBELIEVABLE!

It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

    A "1907-P $20 Ultra" in either PR-70 or MS-61, with $200 shipping. I gotta meet this guy!
  • Someone thinks it's worth .99 so far.

Although spelling and punctuation was atrocious, but he got his rant out and I believe we all understand he's one PO'd hombre. For the price of that auction, I'm sure a load was lifted off his shoulders. For the record, I don't think it's kind to judge people by their spelling. As for reporting, nope, I wouldn't do that here; let him be!
Have bought and sold on BST, many references available when asked.

Don't you like the $200 shipping fee?

    Reported.
    When in doubt, don't.

I like the pic of the coin in the MS70 PCGS holder. I wonder if he has a 3-Legged Buffalo nickel to go along with itimage

uh, i do not think he's really trying to sell anything in this listing. i see it as more of a way to "get his opinion out" about this guy. but okay, i guess i'll be one to say unreported.

If what this guy says is true, PCGS needs to investigate and take action against this dealer. Claiming to be a PCGS grader and then selling cleaned coins as being problem free can hurt PCGS's reputation.

I like how he stopped short of calling him a coin doctor, as if that was a step too far

But his user name justifies his behavior.
The $200 shipping fee is probably to keep the listing active the full seven days. If he tried to do that with a high asking price he would have had higher fees and possibly some idiot buying the coin.

Not sure who is bidding. I do know that if I was Ken Frechman and I saw this I would certainly be bidding, maybe using a couple shill accounts. You jack up the buy price and he gets dinged with final value fees. Could be an expensive rant.

Couldn't he just cancel the auction?

Yeah, something I was thinking about after I posted it. Guess this listing can be used as bidding target practice.
