Middle Eastern coinage Images added... are they silver?

Who here is an expert on these coins or who knows of a web site that can help identifying them??

There are several such experts on the forum; post pics and somebody should be able to help you.

If you own or have access to a Krause catalogue, there's are several pages of "instant identifier" pictures in the front section. These pages on WorldCoinGallery serve much the same function; you should find them helpful if the coins are relatively modern.

The bottom one is Iraq -- 1938 10 fils. I don't think that's silver. The top one is an Indian states rupee, I think.

Top coin, India-Bengal Presidency, Rupee. Looks like KM#109, 11.6 g. silver, but fineness not listed.

What are they worth?

The Bengal Rupee is silver, but usually worth more than silver content. They seem to be selling for $30 to $40 on eBay right now; this one sold for $60. Australians like me pay extra for them, for reasons which are best described as obscure.

The Iraq 10 fils is nickel, not silver. CV is $5 in VF.
