Should I submit these Franklins?

Looks to me to be MS65 and IMO FB.
Or just leave them in my Capital holder set?

<< <i>I like the 49 better; far cleaner, the whack on the chin on the 56 makes it 64...the 49 should grade 65 possibly better. >>
That's what I was thinking but thought it may be kind of neat to get the other graded but not
sure if PCGS will designate the Bugs Bunny on the 56?
Also concerned of PCGS strictness on toning. Both are NT IMO but will they see it that way?

Those are 2 nice coins, 65 easy, maybe even a +.
Leave them the way they are, unless you have a plastic fetish.
The color on the 56 may or may not fly today, so even a gamble w/o the BB.
and they're cold.

Good luck, if you decide to submit...Donato
Donato's Complete US Type Set ---- Donato's Dansco 7070 Modified Type Set ---- Donato's Basic U.S. Coin Design Set
Successful transactions: Shrub68 (Jim), MWallace (Mike)
I would put the 49 at the head of this line.
That said, unless you plan to sell soon Stef, leave them protected in their capital holders.
<< <i>I like the 49 for grading. 56 bugs may or may not designate...those are always a gamble unless you find an exceptionally strong clash.

<< <i>Needs more teefes. >>
So maybe I stick with the 1949 and submit that one.
I think it stands a chance at MS65fbl

<< <i>Enjoy the coins as they are. Spend some of the money saved on the new book on Franklin Half dollars, and take the wife out to dinner with the balance. >>
Stephanie, I thought you said you were going to stop referring to him that way. It's insulting!

<< <i>i think that the 1956 is AT. >>
I thought the same thing. But I would add, centers cleaned, and retoned.
BUT, tough to really tell from a photo.
makes me think of the new beer commercials with the skirt and purse!!
back to the 1956, it just seems to have too much red and even looks lightly circulated, but then it is just a picture judgement.
