That's not a hole---it's the moon. Are these 1/2 oz silver coins really worth that much? Seems high to me.

1) It's a .5 oz. but some are thinking it's a full oz. ? 2) Many people have him as a "favorite seller" and so money isn't the issue ? 3) Good presentation skills ? 4) Creative advertising with good story and photo ? 5) Starting an auction at one cent allows more participation which drives the competetive juices in people ? 6) Paranoia that silver will double in price on Monday ? 7) Some of the above ?

I bought and still have a sheet of 10 of those that I bought at FUN when they were new.
The dealer (I don't remember who) had stacks of the 10 piece sheets.
I bought them more as a novelty than anything else and remember paying a very small premium over melt.
My crystal ball was in the shop that day.
