Agree. Could be a 53 or 55 depending on how those many tic marks and that scratch show up when the coin is examined in hand.

Depending on how your lights are positioned, some rather tiny hairlines can look like Brillo marks. Even that mark in the R. obv field could actually be fairly insignificant, and only show up at one angle. Just saying... but I agree it looks AU something...
If thats a scratch on the right obverse field...thats a big drawback in my eye. MS61 with that, but could just as well be AU58. who knows. The little scruff...hey, its 150 years old......been through God knows how many coin collections 'raw' since the civil war ....those little marks happen. Not all photographs catch them though,.
I have existed since the creation of this world and will exist until its end. Only my form will change. For these 80 human life years, I have the benefit of having a functioning body and consciousness. I will not waste this opportunity.
