Help with a 24 Peace VAM

I have a 24 piece in an Anacs holder labeled as a DDR. I cant pickup any of the doubled rays however with my 9x. Is it more likely that they mislabled it or that I am not looking properly? Also is there anyway to know which Vam it would be just by Anacs having labled it DDR with no other attribution? I'll try and add pics to this but I'm not sure my equipment will help with vam pickups.

I think its a (with the information you provided) its a 24 vam 2. the rays above ONE and eagles back and rear feathers of leg doubled. I hope that helps and is what you are looking for. good luck

there are only really 4 Peace dollar VAMs that have doubling that is anywhere near worthwhile or 5x mag or less. The 1922 and 23 doubled Tiara and the two 1934 d VAMs(same DDO, two different rev). The 34d is naked eye and is IMO a full variety more so than a VAM while the 2 doubled Tiaras have decent enough spreads. The majority of the rest involve slight doubling/tripling of the olive branch and lower tail feathers that is hard to see even if you are looking for it. It also makes a big difference if it is an EDS or not.

Thanks guys, I know I didnt give much to go on but I thought maybe ANACS had a shortlist of vams they might attribute with DDR ont he label and thought maybe that would narrow it down. I cannot make out any doubling on any of the spots listed in VAMWORLD or The Peace Dollar guide.

try brighter light and different angles, its that small. Also anything less then AU50 might be a lost cause. Go get a 34d VAM3 in PCGS AU from peaceman or somebody. It's a great doubled die and doesn't get the credit it deserves.

Also, check the PCGS slabbed dollars - some of them do not have the variety on the slab and get sold as ordinary coins. Unattributed NCG coins seem much scarcer.
