What do you think of this 1993 SP Derek Jeter PSA 10 auction?

LINK

Here is another one. No cert # shown. Seems the seller is more interested in purchasing the card vs selling it.

BTW there is a BGS 9.5 for sale on ebay right now. I guess this seller is to lazy to run a search.

What are your thoughts on this approach of this seller?

I wouldn't touch it. Seller is looking to buy and not to sell. Why do it on ebay? Blocking out the Cert # makes me very suspicious.

i forgot to mention. There is no way I am paying 25G for a card. Especially this one even if it is legit.

Maybe this is the card Roger mentioned he sold to someone for 25G?

He probably knows where one is and would simply take any outrageous offer on the one he has for "sale" and use that money to buy the one he knows of to send it to the person who paid him for his for a profit.

i don't have a problem with what he is doing.. infact.. i think its a good idea.. ebay should have a "wanted" section.

eBay does have a wanted section. I just don't think many people use it.

    Want it Now

This guy must be bipolar since he states he has two to sell but is looking to buy.

I was going to let this go but I can't. Here is my opinion...

This seller does not have the card.

He stole the scan from here...

The dead give away is the white spec of dust on the front of the card lower left just to the right of the K on NEW YORK. not to mention the spot visible in the middle edge on the bottom of the card.

Mile High old Auction apparently D. Young bought or sold.

Am I on to something here?

He probably feels safe that nobody will buy it now for 25K and is just using this as an attempt to find one to purchase.

    he says

"In order to be with Ebay guidelines this is a listing posting these cards for sale but the main reason I am posting this item for sale is to try to find someone else who has one of these in either a BGS 9.5 or PSA 10 that they are looking to sell. Also, I have blocked the PSA serial # so nobody tries to steal my scans and sell a fake one. Again, I am willing to sell these cards but I am not really looking to sell, I am mostly wanting to buy another for my collection"

so he is using the listing as a WANT AD

    This doesnt matter

What does matter is he said " I am willing to sell"

The scan of the card he has for sale is an obviously stolen scan from Mile High.
