If I Uncheck the "Holder Genuine Only Coins.

Will PCGS Holder a Henning Nickel if I Uncheck the "Holder Genuine Only Coins" Box and if they do would eBay allow its sale?

I would guess the answer to be yes and yes?

Why would PCGS holder a counterfeit coin?

    NO and Yes.

I say not to the first one in that if you uncheck the box PCGS just sends it back in the flip.
And does it even have a coin number to submit it under.

Second is Yes in that eBay is just a venue for counterfiets not the lister.

They've also slabbed in the past Edwards copies of the 1796 half cent and 1848 small date counterfeit large cents.

Having said that, until you get word from PCGS themselves otherwise, you should assume the answer is "no, they won't holder it."

Also, why would you want it holdered in the first place? Mine isn't, and I've never had the thought of doing so.

Idle mind... I've seen eBay auctions ended because of the selling counterfeit coin selling ban... getting one holdered would be a loop-hole in the eBay policy??

More idle thoughts.... No holder for the authentic Hwnning, but if one were to remove the mint mark from a authentic war Nickel it could get holdered as a Counterfeit Henning Counterfeit!!! image

They won't holder counterfeits. Numismatic restrikes? Case by Case basis. Counterfeits? No.
