I still have a home in the Birmingham area. However, I'm currently in Asia...............I had no idea that that show was that good. May I suggest the Red Coat Tavern for a great burger...........It's on Woodward and about 12 Mile rd. Not far and or so worth it.Strike that. I just realized they are closed on Sunday's..............Looking forward to a show report! MJ

<< <i>ah, yes. The april dearborn show is a good one. Not as big as the november show but well worth a visit!! >>
Now that show requires a trip to Miller's Bar for a burger on Michigan Ave.
Miller's Bar usually ranks in the 10 burgers in the US category. The Nov Show rocked last year. Never been to the spring event. MJ

Glad to see there are some of us still fond of Detroit.......If I were back there, I'd go downtown and get a Lafayette Coney Island :-) Thats my first stop every visit back home.
Edit: And to keep it coin related, Id visit Coin Cove on Gratiot, and Chuck Smithup in Mt Clemens at Shores Coin
I used to go to the 9 mile show every month but soon found out that most of the material doesn't change much. It may be the best monthly show in the Detroit area but I like the Birmingham, Polish and several others much better.
Instead I went to the Marietta, Ohio show today on my way to North Carolina. It was larger and much nicer than expected so I hope to attend again sometime.

^^ yeah there are a few that never seem to change^^ but I guess that's pretty much the same anywhere you go. I have just 1 or 2 table's I like to see that keep up on it , the rest seem like just hoard's being displayed.

I sorta miss it, and I also miss all the great Deli's! Haven't found one yet here in Napa Valley that comes close to those scrumptuous Reuben's! WOW!
Hope you have a great time there!

I have been quite fond of the #10 @ Plaza Deli @ 12mi and Northwestern. I usually get her deli-sized! Yum!!!

When we would drive down to see my wife's grandfather we would drive by Coin Cove, never got a chance to go in.
Do think I might conjure up the idea to go to the MSNS show and take my five year old coin hoarder with me though.
