    It's a shame that professinal sports is filled with so many people that have no respect for the law. I really wish they would throw a few of them in jail for a few years to show the rest of them they are not "above the law". Hell, if OJ can get away with murder, what's a wife beating, drug arrest or illegal gun possesion. And to think these are some people's heroes. What a joke

    It's not the Iverson syndrome,it's the "NBA" syndrome! The league just keeps turning its back & ignoring this huge problem,but guess what,it ain't going away.The sooner both the law & the league starts really hammering these thugs,stars or not the better off this once great sport will be.
    Slap a few of these punks in with the population at Leavenworth & all of a sudden they'll finally get the message & the league ought to throw thier punk butts out of the league once convicted & the shoe companies need to be pulling back the green from these slim balls as well.

    what make professional sports so special?? actors, actress's, athletes, doctors, lawyers, etc. Common normal day people get in trouble too, nobody seems to give a sh*t then. Why should it be any different with athletes?? you never hear a buncha people whining and saying that, oh im not gonna go to the doctor because 1 guy messed up, or im not gonna watch a show with this person in it because they did something.

    if ur gonna be mad at any league, make it the mlb. they ALL want to go on strike because they arent making enough money. what a freaking joke. put a salary cap on their as*es and see what happens. none of them will be making half what they are now. you cant whine about the nba being bad over 2 people, or even 10 ppl. the mlb has all 500(or however many there are) that are going on strike and ruining the sport.

    jbugs, you have to over-look Bob the hater. That's all he does is bash the NBA, when he watches hockey...one of the most boring sports I've ever seen. The only thing hockey is good for is the fights...that's about the only entertainment I can get out of it.
