    20, from where I sit.

    OK, maybe 25.

This must be "grade the Cartwheel" day or something.

I don't think so, these are big coins.

No, I don't think so, personally. Like the 'Shroom said, these are big, heavy copper coins. Got banged around a lot. If anything, the rim bruises would count against it more, I reckon. But even those are fairly typical. They just make this an average specimen overall, rather than good or bad.

I'm with the The Holey of Holeys on the rim dings on this one - though you can almost taste the pints each clank on the edge bought.

TokenTinker, welcome to the Darkside. I haven't noticed you posting before. Nice icon coin you have there. Is that one of yours?

    Hello ajaan!

Alas - no. I seem to have misplaced my token icon (swept away when I wasn't looking) and snatched this from the lists. I've got the most god-awful Cartwheel to benefit yours in comparison. I'll post it once I get a chance. Even my best is heavily worn, just with little damage to the edge - owned by a worrier with O.C.D. perhaps.

I used to own your icon coin TT. I was just wondering if you got it from someone in NC.

I have seen some of these that the evidence would suggest that they were used as grapeshot during the Napoleonic wars. Being large heavy coins, made of soft copper, they absorbed damage easily when dropped.
