    If you mean a blank disk which was indented outside the Mint with a genuine coin's design by means of a sledgehammer, you may be right.

    Probably a "squeeze job" on an unstruck planchet. However, a photo of the opposite face would be necessary to clinch the diagnosis.

    Agree but are you sure that was done to a blank disk or planchet? I'd like to see what the obverse looks like.
