Does the Mint sell coins at a DISCOUNT ???
Help me out here folks...
On another website on their message board, someone wrote this:
"I had purchased thousands of the new presidential dollar coins at a small discount (1.5%) from the US Mint..."
IS THIS TRUE? Does the mint, or did the mint, sell these dollar coins at LESS than face value??
Or is this guy blowing smoke, or some other mind blowing substance? Thanks.

Hoard the keys.
they pay with their credit card
that gives them cash back (some cards 1 1/2%)
some people were asking about you on precious metals forum
they hoped you are alright as they have not heard from you for awhile
edited to add - some guys go after the free air milage cards
the mint 'limits' purchases but some buyers claim they have purchased over 1/2 million direct ship dollars with alias's

However, my credit card gives me 1 Delta Mile per dollar spent. I am happy to buy cash at face value and get a 1 mile. I have had offers for a credit card that will deposit 2% cash back into an IRA. I could view this as me buying at a 2% discount (even though the mint is selling at face value).
