submission question on crossover and reholder

GeomanGeoman Posts: 2,491 ✭✭✭
I have one coin I am sending in for Reholder, and one coin for a Crossover. Can these be sent on the same form? Thanks!

I just use this build your own form site to figure this out. If you put a coin in it prompts you on what you can or cant do. Start at the top right and just put any coin in---------BigE

My understanding is no, because they are different services.
    When in doubt, don't.

You need to use two different submission forms, cannot combine crossover with reholder.
I collect Capped Bust series by variety in PCGS AU/MS grades.

    In a word..............No.

It's not acceptable but, should you or anybody for that matter, make a mistake and mix submissions on a single form, PCGS will contact you with permission to put it on a separate submission form. You'll more than likely have to authorize additional shipping charges for the new form via credit or debit card.

These "mistakes" are quite acceptable until you continually make the same mistake.

The BEST source of answers to submission questions is the PCGS Customer Service Desk at 1-800-447-8848 or via email at: info@pcgs.com
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

Thanks - that was what it looks like to me also.

The shipping is what gets me, I have 17 coins to submit: 3 are for grading at economy service, 2 at regular service because of the value, 2 foreign, 1 cross over, 1 reholder, plus 8 more for the free voucher. So I will have to pay return shipping on 5 separate packages instead of one. The reholder is for a 1929 SLQ in AU58, so it is less than a $100 coin. But paying $10 for reholdering, $8 for handling and $16.95 for return shipping makes it $42 to get it reholdered. Ouch! I also have 3 coins that are less than $300, but since they are gold I have to send them in at the higher service.
