Advice on selling...
resized.jpg)
Hello Everyone... before I list any more pieces on ebay, I'd like to get the group's opinion about some of my recent auctions. I'm getting bids, but not nearly what I was expecting... some of these aren't going for G4 money. Here are a few of my auctions that ended. Any tips in the listing would be greatly appreciated... Thanks in advance.

IMO, your pictures show good detail but do not exhibit enough of the coin's color for my tastes and your "No Return " policy will discourage many people from spending bigger money. If the coin is problem free, you should have no problem with a reasonable return policy. HM
I agree, you got beat up a little.
Lance.

With no returns you probably would take one back anyway if the buyer whined about it because they can claim SNAD or give mean FBs. With that in mind there's nothing to be lost by having a return policy and you might get more bids.
Even with the return policy since money is tight for so many people they don't bid as much as they might in better times so you might try the 7 day and be sure it ends on a Sat-Sun eve. It might let more people see it and bid.
I'm agreeing with the other posters.
Your auctions ended at approx 5:30 PST. Bummer, half of the male population is still on the
road home from work. Bad choice there my friend. Always have your auctions end on Sat or
Sun eve no earlier than 6:30 Pacific Time. West coast and East coast are at the computers.
Your auction is rather negative to your host. Take the negativity out, be happy. Eliminate
the NO RETURNS crap. The odds of returns is about zero with your pics and descriptions.
In your descriptions use simple words. Don't complicate things like using "parsing". Keep it
simple. Why did you tell your buyers you sold the "good" date coins earlier??? Like, I sold the
good stuff and now what is left is the junk. Doesn't make sense to give this info out. Mum
is the word on that.
Great pics, good descriptions and I'd be happy with those prices (all except the '51).
If you think you should have had more then you bought when prices were higher or you paid
too much in the beginning. Did you overpay for those "non approved" slabs?
edited: why did you charge $15 shipping on a partial set of wheats with no keys? I'm surprised
you got the $55.
Good luck,
bob
@Bob... I charged $15 flat fee for shipping on the albums since I didn't know where the item would be shipped to. With Priority (2-3 day), Ins and DC, the postage came to $11.50... add in the padded envelope and I wasn't too far off in my estimate.
Again... thanks for all the tips.
