I'm here now at the ANA Money show. What would you like to know?
I see an abundance of gold around the bourse. Sales for us at Holsonbake Numismatics have been average or slightly better. The traffic looks to be picking up a bit now (Friday) as compared to yesterday. I've met several board members including Charmy Harker. Her name matches her personality. Very nice woman, with lots of beautiful copper in her showcases. Todd didn't show up yet. I'm not sure he is going to make it or not.
I met Don Willis and David Hall yesterday which was pretty cool, being that this is my first major coin show. I always imagined them to have a huge entourage, body guards, groupies, etc. but they are just regular guys who are very personable and knowledgable, and walk around the bourse and eat BBQ beef sandwiches just like anyone else.

Since Liberty nickels are one of my favorite series, I thought it was a real treat to get to see the Olsen Specimen 1913 Liberty nickel. I'd never seen one before.
A few bourse photos
I think think it was interesting that PCGS released and published guidelines for eye appeal, with photos of examples. There is lots of great info about that right here. I thought it was pretty funny that they had an official designation of "Ugly".
Sorry I don't have a more comprehensive report. I am admittedly a coin show noob! I am learning something new constantly, but it sure is a lot of fun!

It was shortly after setup on Thursday. It was far busier today! We did over double the sales today.
