Whats a MPM?

I saw this coin in someones registry set and was wondering what it is?


1964 D Roosevelt MPM FS-502

Since i am searching several rolls of BU 64 and 64D's i dont want to miss anything.

found a 64 D/D and a 64-P DDR so far.

    looking at the picture of the coin,the mint mark looks like its in the normal place.

    Just as coins with misplaced dates in the denticles or the design have a normal date in the normal position as well, misplaced mint marks can appear in the torch as well as next to the torch.

    There's a nice closeup photo of one in an ANACS slab in this ebay auction.

    New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

    The key word being: "trace."
