Did PCGS stop grading during the lead up to the "Big One"?

I doubt it. That's how they make money.

How fast is express supposed to be? That seems very long....
they received my express order yesterday, but it is not showing up on my orders list today. (they have always gotten it on the list by the next day)
wah!

If an Express order has taken 45 days then that's worthy of a call to PCGS.

I think some people need to call customer service to check on their orders.

I called today, the customer service rep told me she was too busy to find out why the coin has not been graded (submitted in person in Baltimore on 3/6), so I told her I wanted the coin returned to me ungraded and to be refunded the grading fee.

I prefer my coins in PCGS holders, and buy them that way whenever possible, but it seems like 2 out of every 3 times I submit coins for grading, they make me eat my heart out over it. My enjoyment of collecting is really diminished by submitting coins for grading, and, at times, I have stopped submitting. I think it's time to stop again and let the next guy hassle with it.
Edit: There were apparently extenuating circumstances that are reasonable. They could not independently verify the pedigree. I wish they would have informed me, but no harm, no foul.
