So, does a + at NGC now trump a star?

Also, NGC has posted an announcement about this on its home page.
    When in doubt, don't.

No, but if you get &#@*+ following the grade, then you have hit the jackpot.

Yes it will. The star was just on the holder because NGC thought the coin had great eye appeal. The star did not mean that the coin was PQ for the grade.

Wow, I can't wait to see an NGC holder with a star, a plus, and a green sticker! It might just end up being the worlds greatest coin. The Big One seems a little less special considering NGC is in on half of it and like everything else with major competitors, likely to have laser scanning available down the road too.

I believe it may indeed trump. We will have to see how the plus is awarded to the first

batches of coins submitted for the new grade to PCGS.
