Under promise and over deliver

This Big One is a good marketing lesson for all. I think that the forum reaction to the Big One would have been more decidedly positive if it was a surprise announcement, not something promoted for several months, in multiple venues.

I agree 110%. Under promise and over deliver is one of the basics when it comes to marketing, sales and customer service.

I agree. Overall though, I don't think it's so bad. I prefer if they laser scanned/photographed ALL submissions, but I suppose they'd have to raise the prices quite a lot to cover the overhead.

If I were PCGS, I would provide some free Secure Plus for a short period of time, to get the peeps hooked on the service. They could start with my proof gold coin which has been in their hands for 5 day Express grading for over 20 days. image
