Need opinion on authenticity of 1795 $

A client sent me this and asked for my opinion. I told him that I would post it here for further examination.
Many thanx.

Interesting, on ebay all are "$1" on Heritage most are "S$1."
<< <i>The slab bothers me, I can't find a pic of another one with the "S$1" I only see "$1" on other PCGS slabbed early dollars. >>
I looked in the Heritage archives and the second one of that date/type I saw had "S$1" on the label. But the coin still looks off to me.

Is there any way to search Heritage's archives by cert # or do you just have to look through the past auctions at each holder?
(Hey, 6000th post, cool)

(and it looks like a fake one at that)
The rev. hologram should be the one with a PNG logo not the NASDAQ:CLCT (that is what they use now) .
All the slabs I have that read "Series, Coin" have the PNG logo on the back. Can anyone concur?
in the date, as well as two depressions on the throat towards the front. Many of these also show a
depressed line arcing from the eagle's wing to the right side of the eagle's head.

Here's a photo of a fake slab. Notice the piece of plastic that you can see in the middle of the slab on the left and right side. The same thing can be seen on this slab.

Great thread on conterfeighting - keep it up!
<< <i>The coin's wrong, the slab's wrong, the font is wrong. It's FAKE. 100%.

Obviously I'm a newbie, but I must say the "stack points" in the middle on the "suspect slab" bear a strong resemblance to the fake one in the above comparison.
