Nice finds from the bank

I got my customary box of halves to sort today while im laid up at home. Not a bad box

2 90% silvers a 41 and a 64
4 40% silvers afew 67s and a 68
Also got a 88S .

Since January half boxes have produced a 80S 85S 88S 01S and 03S. not a bad pull of S mints. Is this normal or am I having more than my share of S mint finds?

I've gotten maybe 5 clad proof out of 10 boxes.

Here in the nashville area,half dollars are hard to come by.banks don't have them.
Oh by the way,nice finds on your search.

Interesting read. My bank never orders coin and won't.

bob you must be a TD bank person. thats what walks through the door when i enter.

for as what has me laid up, Ive been blacking out , light headed, dizzy, general weakness and chestpains.

2nd time in a week it happened was driving. so right now im not cleared to do anything and cant go back to work or anything. I start cardiac therapy the 31st. This isnt gonna be fun.

PS dont tell the gf bout my heart issue she dont know. im living in nj till i can save up to move but she dont need to know

I kept reading about bank half dollar finds on the Forum. Went to what used to be my bank (BOA) and got 20 rolls. When I got them home 19 of the rolls only had 19 halves in them. The bank would not make them good. It cost me $9.50 to look at them and didn't get a coin out of the bunch.

In this day and age, anytime you can find any silver from the bank,

I do admit when i go to cash the coins in i do come up 1 or 2 short at times. I always blamed it on the machine at the TD bank. Maybe its off when its wrapped. BUT if you walk off with silver it quickly offsets it. I would say this year ive hard 160 in silver. a roll of 90s and 1 and a quarter rolls of 40s and misc dimes quarters and nickels. PNC is the place to go to order halves to find coins. Let me tell ya

Those are some good finds on the silver.

I think the S mints are hard to predict, the bad economy must be getting people to spend what they were collecting. Maybe some kids found dads collection.
