1857 Half Cent Question Picture Added

I am full of questions today.
I received in a deal an 1857 Half Cent. On the 2x2 it has wriiten G-1 & E-131 then on the back of the flip C-1 & R-2.
I didnt pay for these supposed variety marks, but I guess I should know if the belong or not. I do not have any reference books for Half cents and this is probably the lone example I will have for my collection.
So, I am asking the experts what do the codes mean?

R-2 = Rarity (R-1 is the least rare)
Don't know off the top of my head what the E number is.

I assume they refer to the variety equivalents for Gilbert-1,
Empire-131, Cohen-1 and R-2 for the rarity rating.
Show an image of the obv & rev and perhaps it can be verified.
