Thanks. image
There is no "AT" or "NT". We only have "market acceptable" or "not market acceptable.

I doubt it, it followed all of the posted rules.

It may have followed all of the rules, however, just about every thread that I have seen specifically talking about CAC has been poofed by the moderators.

Why is that? If it directly relates to U.S. coins?

<< <i>Rule 7) This is a PCGS forum. Posts promoting or bashing other grading companies or service are not allowed. Those posts will be removed and your posting privileges may be removed as well. >>

Almost by definition a CAC thread on this board will turn into a bash fest.
In turn, some will defend (promote) it.

So instead of deleting the replies that are breaking the rule, they delete the whole thing? That's not smart in the long term. At least send a private message. What lesson can be learned if they don't.

It all depends on what PCGS intends to do.

Frankly, I think it will be interesting to see where they are in 30 days.
    When in doubt, don't.
  • Stop with the CAC threads.

From the CLCT Yahoo! Finance Boards......

Last month CAC released some interesting numbers:

    Total coins seen: 144,000
    Total greenies awarded: 68,000
    Total goldies: 296

I wish we could see a breakdown by TPG. As in "What percentage of NGC coins stickered vs. PCGS?"

That would be of great interest to nearly everyone, I would guess.
    >>>

So the question I have is that total coins since inception? Or just last month? If that is totals for 1 month, then PCGS is leaving money on the table by allowing CAC into the game. If its since inception, then its not that big of a deal. I can't find these numbers on the CAC site.

CAC charges $10/coin up to $10k value and $20 after that

    Anyone know this dbtunr???

I haven't checked and don't really know but I'd guess that is since inception. 144,000 in one month = 900/hour (20 day month, 8 hour day). CAC can't have that much business or be that productive, can they?
