    hahaha. Any tips? ;-)

I have a 1953 Forrest Main, Pittsburgh Pirates if anyone is interested. Looking for either an equal value card of a Cincinnati Red I don't already have, or a package deal of multiple cards that are 1969 or earlier. I wouldn't turn down a 1952 card of any kind either ;-) With a multi card deal I expect more value than I'm giving up. Either PM me or just send me an offer on the website.

(if you are looking at the website the card will show as one of the first four listed cards in 1953. It still has the "card Image Unavailable" Image, but according to the Topps Facebook page, the card is set in stone as a '53 Forrest Main now).

Anyone noticing a "strange" trend with common cards of players with interesting names? For example, I had a 1972 Dick Drago, was getting a decent amount of trade offers for him. It's gotta be the name, since he was a pretty average pitcher. Did end up trading for a 1973 Jerry Koosman, maybe should have held out for something better?!

Given that we don't have a clue about condition, I don't see why people are targeting specific cards in the late 60's-mid 70's like that. I'm using that era as a stepping stone to TRY and convert my 80's junk into 60's junk image

My point is Dick Drago was a very common player, Billy Williams was a star, or at least semi-ster.

Whoever is grabarkew1tz on Topps Million, your offer is close, I like the cards you've included, but It needs one more unless I missing something in the value of the cards. Toss in an early 60's card (even if not a Red), 2 late 60's cards (even if not a Red), or a pile of modern Reds carp and we can get it done.

New feature installed today, you can now see how many of a specific card are unlocked (and not shipped). I see I've been trying to trade for a few 1 of 1 cards for awhile, since one is a 1989 card, I'm guess it belongs either to a big fan of that player or someone who never checks trades.... what a bummer...

Really screws up trading when you have stats like the following:

1987 Topps Pete Rose: QTY 1310
1987 Topps Robin Yount QTY 1540
1987 Topps Pete Rose Manager QTY 753
1988 Topps Pete Rose QTY 905
1988 Topps Paul Molitor QTY 682

and two cards I hoped to trade for my Reds collection...
1989 Topps Chris Sabo QTY 1
1985 Topps Eric Davis QTY 11

The kids were off from school today so while I was at work the rest of the family went shopping pretty much everywhere. My wife felt bad, or tried to make me feel better by buying me a 36 card rack pack nicely wrapped by my daughter in a nice crayon colored paper. It's just a 1990, but got a Cal on the one and only redemption card inside. Pretty cool. Thanks family.

    To downtown:

I have a 1969 JC Martin card; and although I understand the value would not be in your favor; I'd gladly accept either of the 1950's cards you posted for that card.

My Topps Million name is the same as my name on these boards if you wish to search me out

I realize we might need to even things out later; so look at what else I have and we'll do a follow-up later.

1972 Bud Harrelson In action for 1993 Barry Bonds for 1987 Will Clark for 1974 Mel Stottlemyre and 1963 Russ Kemmerer

1993 Roger Pavlik for 1987 Robin Yount

1972 Joe Torre for 1964 Jim King and 1969 JC Martin

1964 Jim King for 1969 Cesar Tovar

1974 Mel Stottemyre for 1975 Rick Burleson and 1980 Rich Wortham

This is what I currently have:

    1987 Bob Brenly

    1987 Robin Yount

    2004 Quinton McCracken

    1981 Rich Dauer

    1989 Ozzie Smith

Any thing that upgrades these newer cards would be a yes without much thought

I also have these "vintage cards"

    1958 Jim Grant

    1959 Bob Schmidt

    1963 Russ Kemmerer

    1976 Tippy Martinez

    1978 Dave Rader

    1980 Rich Wortham

Anything that upgrades those "older" cards will be thought of -- and may or may not be a yes.

I will probably buy a few more packs along the way before collecting the haul so I'm still trading away

Hi guys, just to reiterate the 52 MAntle is now a "?2" Mantle...yes a "question mark and a 2"

" Not only are we giving you back the cards your mom threw out, we're also giving you the chance to win the most famous Topps baseball card, a ?2 Mantle plus other great prizes.
Every card you unlock gives you another entry in the drawing for the ?2 Mantle, the more codes you enter, the more chances you have to win."

So Topps charged my credit card on 3/21, so at least the order is processing I suppose. The order was placed on 3/16 (22 cards for $14.05). Do you think it'll still take 4 to 6 weeks? I'll keep the board posted...

Has anyone following the program seen a card older the 1954 pop recently. I often see 1954, 1955, 1957, and 1959, but I was wonder if anyone has seen any '52s or '53s in the last week or two.

I've got a stack of unused codes and not sure when to throw them onto the fire or whether it might be better to wait until the t206s start popping.

I was charged by Topps for my cards that I removed last night, which is weird since it was a sunday, but that's when it posted to my bank account. I hope that means they are shipping now and not that we have to wait 4-6 more weeks to see them!

Still looking for 1956 cards. Does anyone have any they are willing to trade? I will send you stuff in the mail if I don't have anything in my Topps MCG account that you are interested in! I have accumulated 110 of them so far and must get more! Best one so far, Don Larsen. Need to pick up some bigger names too! There was a lot I didn't win on ebay the other night that I keep kicking myself over! It was 41 cards with some of the bigger names in it (Banks, Kluzewski, Minoso, etc) and I bid to $113.00, but got out bid at the last second image I wish I went higher. Oh well, sob, sob!

    Thanks! Bill

Thought I saw a 52 a couple days ago. Mostly seeing late 80's, late 70's, and an occasional 50's or 60's card. Still think they will put out some good cards when series 2 comes out.

Judging by their other issues with programming, I doubt all the 50s cards pouring out at the beginning were supposed to happen the way they did.

I think the way it's releasing them now is the way it was supposed to be from the beginning.
