Huh? my question/point is, on one photo the coin says "replica" and another photo look like real gold coin and one photo looks like brass. I know gold $$ can be real bad strikes, so I am not sure if coin #1 is real (it looks fake for several reasons, but lots of gold looks fake to me).
Can you really call a "coin" fake, when it is clearly sold as a replica and stamped as such? I dont think so. The people who do make these often stamp them on the reverse, into the wreath. so..theres no way to really tell.
That being said, the CW era gold dollars DID have exceptionally good strikes (except for the 61D).
