Comments: WI D High Leaf Quarter PCGS MS 67
Currently one of only two WI D Extra High Leaf Quarters graded by PCGS as MS 67 is offered on Ebay. Ebay # 150421761203. I do not own this coin. I am trying to understand why this coin is MS67: Is it the lack of blemishes? Is it the depth of the strike? This is a learning process for me. Please render your comments concerning the MS 67 grade. Thanks. Please link this thread to the Ebay auction for illustration purposes. Thanks.

Seems rather highly priced.

Dang.
Per the photos it looks decent for an MS67 and believe it's a compilation of all the qualities you listed above that make the grade.

How freakie is that?

Steve takes real quick pictures and I bet the coin looks much better in hand. I know for sure his Lincolns do.

I'm thinking it looks better in hand as well.
find slightly better strikes and quite a bit cleaner but getting both at once
is pretty unusual.
They graded it on a "curve".
I used to be famous now I just collect coins.

I am sure it is dripping with luster and just glows to get that grade
My high leaf 67 by ANACS looks every bit as good as that one does. In fact it looks better.
The only ones that don't look that good are the ones graded by NGC, most of them are way off (sorry NGC folks but true).
