Just sold an expensive coin to a forum member and Paypal shows the transaction canceled?

Got an Echeck and paypal said not to ship item for 3-5 days until it cleared. The transaction said pending until I checked today but now it shows as being canceled????

That sounds like something to discuss with the other party and Paypal.

Your right Mark. It's just that I was not notified by anyone that it was canceled- what's up with that?

I agree with coinguy. Talk to the buyer and paypal. Best wishes

I doubt that anyone here knows that, Mike, hence my previous comment.

No, I told him I had to wait 3-5 days as paypal required.

That usually means the buyer's bank declined the transaction with prejudice.

Thanks Russ, that's what I suspected as well.

Yep,check with buyer. Know my bank will not honor any debit or "e-checks" out of my account over $1000. I must/have requested the limit raised for each transaction. Perhaps the buyer needs to talk to the bank,to clear processing.

If it involves Paypal, you should ask GSAGUY, I hear he has a lot of paypal experience lately image

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

I just spent several $K on a new PC rig. I built it myself from scratch, so I had a bunch of charges all at once to Amazon.com, Best Buy, and Newegg.com for component parts on several credit cards over a very short period of time. The banks put a hold on my cards until I could clear the transactions through their fraud dept. After I did so, I actually had to re-charge a couple of items. Bottom line is you should contact your prospective buyer. He may not be a deadbeat, but afflicted with the same kind of credit-hold that I've recently experienced.

Either way, you should proceed with caution.

Maybe because he sells on a semi regular basis as opposed to those who have really nice toned Morgans that 'give' to laura and then have nightmares of what is being done to them.

besides you had to use a new Id on ebay cuz you could not remember your original or it was really really old.

should of offered US some of those Morgans on the BS&T..
