I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

is that a good or a bad thing

this is with Axial lighting, not head on. Head on it looks like your average Seated half struck in copper
actually looking at the coin more closely the picture still looks worse than the actual color on the coin.
<< <i>CRO's pictures ...
Why would you even bother to crank start you camera when this already comes with images by MG

Because his images still don't capture the coin accurately IMO

Hahahaha a little harsh though? Taking pictures is still kinda fun, always wanna see if you can outdo the master!
Regardless of the color, I love the design!
<< <i>to be honest, i doubt that the coin really looks like either set of pictures. >>
I appreciate your honesty, but the coin actually looks like MG's images. Of course, I have seen it in hand, so am at a slight advantage over you in this case.

The problem with those images, is that they completely and entirely lack any sort of luster whatsoever. So I doubt those images are a true representation of the coin. Unless ofcourse the coin has absolutely no luster which would certainly not be a good thing with that color.

Isn't the pattern a brilliant proof? If so, I would expect little if any luster. Perhaps a different term would be better?

I have seen the coin, and it looks pretty close to the Goodman/CRO shot.
