just looking through my "free coin world" and seen a ad selling clad 2008 14pc proof set's for $99.00...whats up with that ? did I miss something ? or did I make another score ?

    I'm sure this has been covered in the past, but could someone please explain why these have taken off so quickly? I am curious if this is a short term bump for people to finish their sets, or if these have long-term potential.

    It's been covered, the Mint cut off orders with no notice, so the big end of year orders never got submitted and dealers had to scramble to fill orders and the prices went up.
