2009 Topps Baseball NNOF - Any info?

I only buy a few packs of Topps cards each year when they come out, just out of habit more than anything. Anyway, I bought a few packs last season and got these No Name On Front cards. I stashed them away, and just today found them again. I was just wondering if any of the error experts could give me any info on them. Are they common? Are they known? Any info would be appreciated. The cards are of Juan Pierre, Alex Rodriguez, Jon Lester, Luis Castillo, Frank Catalanotto, Justin Verlander, Ryan Madson and Neal Cotts.

Thanks, Todd

Yep. Simply missing it's foil. These show up every year since at least 2006, like clockwork.

If only Topps would drop the foil and return to a more pre-1995, or better, pre-1992 style, a card missing it's name would be substantial, as it would mean either a plate obstruction or a complete ommission of the appropriate ink(s) in that area.

Yeah, foil missing is more annoying that an error.

These cards always pop up, and you can't think but that some people are removing foli themselves.

If you pulled them, its cool but no added value really ..

    thanks for sharing.
