Should NGC have its own marketplace, or is it a conflict for us to be involved in the market in this way?"

IMO, it is a conflict of interest. However it can be successful. If anyone is familiar with the trading card hobby- it's a lot like Beckett/BGS and their marketplace.

And was it determined that the * is a joke finally?

I lost all love for their eye on PQ with their only *'ed MPL.

Would it be as a competitor to Collectors Corner? If so I don't see it being too successful. If it's for NGC-only coins it could be a negative impact on the brand if sales prices are consistantly lower than at places with both brands, I think it could make the lower sales prices stick out more.

(*Based on the series I'm familiar with - NGC brings MUCH less in many instances than PCGS)
Want to buy an auction catalog for the William Hesslein Sale (December 2, 1926). Thanks to all those who have helped us obtain the others!!!

Sorry - this is what came up. image

Pardon me if I never submit any coins to DGS. I've heard too much controversy regarding their policies, and whether the rumors are true or not, I would rather not be the lab rat.

High five to Bugmann for this post (I took the liberty to correct a misspelled word)....

A good business avoids conflict of interest at all costs. Especialy the appearence of conflict of interest.

How can there be a conflict of interest? Whose interests is NGC obligated to serve other than its own (and its shareholders)?

Did I say there was a conflict of interest ? No, I just said "high five" for that post. It's sound doctrine for any business model.
