Mint set question for sets from 56-64

I am in the process of selling off part of my Dad's collection left to me 10 years ago.
I've run across a small run of mint sets from 1956 - 1964. They are all single sets, Phillie mint only.

My question is, did the mint issue single sets in the years 56-64? I had the impression that all mint sets had both P & D sets. The various on-line value guides quote prices for doubles but not singles.

Thanks in advance for any info.....Leo

  • I do not believe the Mint issued anything but the full sets , P & D and S

The question should be asked: "Are these Proof Sets?" as it sounds as if you are describing a Proof Set.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

You may have proof sets, you may have broken up mint sets and you may have after market year sets. Images would help.
