Ike Peg Leg Question...

Okay, I need the Ike experts on this question.

As some of you know, I'm helping out in a local coin store and think I've found a peg leg, which was verified by the CPG.

Is there any other date, other than the 1971-S, 40% Silver, mint state coins that are considered and designated a peg leg variety?

I've seen the other posts concerning the fact that 72-S's are all peg legs... any others?

Secondly, when is the designation and grading worth the price? What grade is worth it? Just wondering prices on this variety.

And for those that want to know... there are at least six other coins I'll be asking questions on next including Conder tokens and twin 1970-S RPM1 Stage B Lincolns, but I need to get pictures of those first.

    There are quite a few other peg-legs throughout the Ike series, however, the 71S is the only one the CPG and therefore PCGS recognizes. Unless it's a MS62 coin or less, holdering it at PCGS should net you a few bucks; anywhere between a hundred to possibly $1000 depending upon grade, even though prices have dropped quite a bit on these due to population increases and market saturation (being a relatively small market). These tend to be fairly scarce.

    1976D T2, and 1972D are the easiest ones to find with peg-legs. 1971D is certainly findable. 1974D & 1978D are out there but can be rather tough. There's a few other variations, but these are the big ones.

    Quick question. Is the 71S Ike referenced here the "Brown Box" Silver Proof Ike, or the "Blue Pack" Silver Business Strike"?
