Do the TPG's allow more leeway when grading rare key date coins?
Look at the green goo on this coin, the 'semi-hole' in front of the face, the reverse scratch at 6:00 and the semi 'graffitti' at 12:00 on the obverse.
and it still grades?
help me out experts.....why?

To me I see a pocket carried cent with some hits from commercial use. Nothing
severe enough to keep it out of a holder. Might cause a downgrade.

But I really don't see anything fatal with this '77 IHC. I wouldn't mind having it in my collection.

I don't see Longacre stickering this one.
