He has 25 feedback comments and his last one was in August 2007. I dont think any of the comments listed had anything to do with coins. imageimage

It appears to me like a guy about to start a collection of $100 bills. This is a good example of an internet shyster in action. image

And he doesn't even stipulate if your $100 is applied to the purchase price. So, for a $100 fee I can buy gold from him at today's spot anythime over the next 30 days and he also keeps my $100......think I'll pass. image

I hate to even say this, but 100 bucks it too much for the option, now if it was 20 bucks, he would be selling them left and right........... ??

I agree. It's pretty creative actually - just a hedge that could work out in favor of the buyer (or not), but a 10% swing within a month would be a lot. Do those that reported it know that it's against Ebay rules?

Makes a person wonder if he really has the gold coins to deliver.
...if you want to exercise your option.

I'm sure he could use your money to purchase coins as needed.

He just responded to my e-mail:

"Thank you for your question, I removed the listing and will sell the coin outright. I wanted to give people the possibility to change their mind purchasing the coin if market price dropped substantialy, but unfortunately only upset people in the proccess. Sorry for any inconvenience."
