Thought I'd share my 1962 Topps Set --- I'm considering it finished

It's mostly raw, although you wouldn't know it from these scans. There are about 150 PSA graded cards and the rest are raw NM-ish. I bought the first cards for this particular set from Nick (Nam812), and got help from quite a few board members (RonBurgundy, Oakesy, Hoofhearted, and many more).
I've currently got 3 complete sets of 62's -- this one is the best of them. I did it all graded once before -- about a 7.25 as I recall.
Anyway, here are the keys:

Need some 2007 A&G Regular Back Mini's PM if you have any and I will send my needs list.
Now you've got me thinking of building a Braves team set registry.
How'd you ever find such a nicely centered Marichal? He's tough!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
Only an idiot would have a message board signature.
it is a 7+ almost no chance of it going down and you can get it out of that flip
nicely centered copy...

<< <i>Thanks fellas -- I'm going to keep this one (I think) and sell off the other two sets - one is about a 6.75, the other about a 6. Got a bunch of extra 70's sets to sell too - just too busy with work/school/family these days (yet still finding time to buy
There's ALWAYS time to buy.

62 Maris is one of my favorite baseball cards.
You shouldn't include me as one helping you -- you've pretty much put me "in the game" in the Set Registry with my first major purchase from you back in July of 2005. That trade we made last November was pretty much one-sided in my favor -- and don't think I didn't notice or appreciate it!! In fact the 7 Maris and 7 Mays I sent to you were part of the July '05 bunch I got from you originally! I was just holding them for you, I guess!
Some really well centered cards - a tough set - I think you've done well with this one!
I have the Mgr's Dream in a 7 - if you see mine - your's looks more like an 8.
<< <i>62's are a love/hate relationship. There is nothing (short of 1990 Topps) uglier than a poor condition 62. But when they are right, they are SO nice. Nice cards!!! You must be chomping at the bit for the Heritage next year. >>
I agree with your take on the '62Ts. My raw set is "well-enjoyed" from putting the set together as a kid -- nothing to match up to any of Mike's three sets I'm sure! Once I started upgrading the cards that had writing on them back in 2004, I discovered the world of PSA-graded cards. I couldn't believe how awesome the cards are in high grade, so I've been on a quest to complete my Master Set Registry ever since.
I'm going to definitely try to complete my first Heritage set next year!!
One of my favorite sets.

Buying Vintage, all sports.
Buying Woody Hayes, Les Horvath, Vic Janowicz, and Jesse Owens autographed items
Like the Babe Ruth cards and really like those World Series photographs. The head on the League Leader and rookie cards are somewhat creepy
Great set

Nice job!
-Topps Dodgers cards in PSA 9, 1952-1979
-1971 Topps in PSA 9
nice cards, btw.
hard to tell from the numbers......do you buy raw and then sub yourself or do you buy both raw and graded?
any real disasters or gems to speak of? (ie. raw buys that were either appreciably better or worse than you thought you were getting?).
