OT..........It's fantasy baseball time, who is your #1 sleeper?

Who is the player who is going to get the most out of his numbers for his position in the draft order? Give me the Mark Reynolds of this year. Or the Pablo Sandoval, Kendry Morales...........Zach Greinke, Edwin Jackson.........Where will this years biggest fantasy baseball surprise come from? Afterall, today was opening day and now is the time to project.

Edit to add: He's not much of a sleeper, but I'll bet that Granderson flat-out rakes in the bandbox this year.

<< <i>Im not sure either are sleepers but from a value standpoint I like the following based on where they will be drafted: Jose Reyes and Francisco Liriano. >>
stay away from Reyes...his is fantasy death
Lance Blanks for the Padres
Bud Norris for the Astros
These are for NL only leagues which I play in. All three will put up great numbers for where they are picked in the draft
I think Octavio Dotel could get 30 saves with the Pirates.

I disagree. Fantasy stud prior to injury. If he's fully healthy, he will be a steal since he is a projected 2nd-4th round pick.
<< <i>Jose Reyes will have a monster year. >>
Sure hope so. It sounds like he's finally healthy this year.

<< <i>I read somewhere online during the off-season that Pablo Sandoval was working out and watching what he eats. If he can slim down, WATCH OUT. I'm thinking 35/120/.350 with a batting championship from young Pandavol. >>
Yes, he is watching what he eats.....about 3 seconds before he inhales it.
Pablo, when healthy will be awesome. If not, big heavy will be injury prone
I think Johan Santana is going to be a big sleeper. Most drafts I am seeing him go in the 4-5 rounds. I read that his elbow is feeling good. The last time he had off-season elbow surgery, he won the Cy Young the next season. When healthy, he is a late first round pick.

My biggest bust? Yup Dustin Pedroia, he has lost alot of what little weight he had last year.

Good call on Wieters. There is almost no way he can't improve on last season and become a stud behind and in front of the plate.
