Great pickups. Love the sunspots on the 1802 and I bet the reverse is just gorgeous. Probably looks great next to the 1803 w/the mumps...

Wow. Beautiful cents! I think you did very nicely but I'll bet it wasn't easy to part with the Coronets.

I like the trade....... a lot!

It wasn't a trade - I wish!!! The traded coins were a small downpayment, but I had to do it in order to keep the momentum going. Thanks for the comments, guys.

No, I finally asked the right questions and found out that it was probably polished & retoned at one point. I still like the coin, though. I will probably start to miss it before long.

    Nice 1794...Sheldon 70?

    Yes, sir!

It would have been very difficult letting go of the '27, but for what you got.

I just noticed the 'ring' just inside the denticles of the 1830 large cent.

    I've never noticed this before.

    Is this a common?

Nice coins, including the ones your traded. Really like that 1794. I know the feeling when you have to do a trade to move up, just did that with the 1800 cent I posted on an earlier thread. No regrets whatsoever.

It's an N-1, and pretty common. I had fogotten all about the ring, but yes, that is normal.image
