If the seller thought for a split second that there was ANY chance it was real, he would not be selling it like this. He would have had it subbed. He knows its a reprint, and even listed it as such.
The Q&A Section is hillarious. He talks about not knowing how to grade then says he would of sent it in to be graded had it been another player. I like the guy who offered the Jackson Pollard painting in trade.

Call the police, some just got robbed! OMG $650 for that. PT Barnum was right. He says, It's a fake but it might be real, I am never that lucky but it looks real so I am not sure now. Where are these people when I have auctions?
Maybe the Seller can turn this thing around by offering it for sale as "The Famous Fake T-206 Wagner Reprint That Sold For $ 650". No telling what that might bring.
Frankly, in my opinion, it's looks to me from the bidding pattern as though the seller employed some shills, and was hoping to suck in a fish who would jump on the bidding bandwagon figuring it was a legit sale. It didn't work.
Agree completely with SteveK...all those bids and not one from a bidder with more than a 12 next to his name. LOL..

<< <i>Stevek I noticed that too and thought that was peculiar.
The seller knows/knew full well the card was a reprint regardless of what he said.
(later in his description)
If he thought he had a 500k + card he would not be selling it raw on ebay.

Yea, it's the clever con artist style of exploiting the ebay rules...state it's a "reprint" so the auction won't technically be pulled, and then the scammers figure they can then spew out any deceptive BS story they want.
i went to a very small local show 2 weeks ago and some guy had a wagner t 206 graded by some fly by night grading company out of fla.. i didn't even think it looked close to bad let alone good. same bright orange color on the background. the guy wanted 125k then later i heard he wanted 75k. he also had a real bad short/small 51 bowman mantle grade and some other t cards that looked auth. but were graded 1-2. they we missing pieces and looked like they were glued to a scrap book. he also had some goudy's i thought were bad. nobody really said anything to the guy, i really believed he thought he had real cards, he was there with his wife, a younger guy maybe 40ish. i wasn't selling only buying and didn't think he needed me chiming in, the guy who runs the show had me look at it and i told him it wasn't even close along with the other cards i told him i hope he didn't pay a lot for the cards himself. i think everybody knew not to buy anything that expensive, more then $500, at that show, really like 15 dealers, the same ones you see every show, except for this guy.
just thought i would share since it seems to be the same card.

Whomever is paying $650 for this card is a hero to people who pay $20-30 for fake 86 Fleer Jordans. One day, they'll be able to spend the big bucks on a reprint like that.

After all 6 other people think that.
Ebay has become scummier and scummier. Yahoo auctions were bad, but never this bad...
Well maybe they were.

Ive seen pictures of that card many times over the last 30 years. It is one of the most recognizable of all the 60+ out there.
