My Felicia Comments

First offf these are my exact words..in my first post..

"From what I gather Felicia was a Man, and a complete weirdo.

Im not saying it wasnt a good person, just straight up weird for playing games and getting a kick out of fooling an entire message board that its a Woman when in fact it was a MAN.

Felicia, maybe a TV? Crossdresser? Try and explore that next since your done with the Message Board thingy"

My exact words in my second post..

"I got a LENGTHY PM from a friend of mine here and he gave me pretty much example after example including links, ect.. ect.. to back up what he was saying.

I gave my Word I would not tell anyone where this info came from- I gotta stick with that.

Again Im not saying it wasnt a Bad Person but I do stand by my previous post.

Edit: I will direct that person to this thread and leave it up to him to explain, if he choses. "

I got some flak in that thread regarding my post and I want to address it in this thread. Im ok with people disagreeing with what I said, but remember I didnt DERAIL that thread as it was done a long time ago, and if you read the lengthy PM I got you might agree with what I said. I also never said he/she wasnt a good person, yea maybe I was disrespectful but no more disrespectful than someone spinning a web of false idenity, which I think is being done by two people.

Mike ( Bosox ) if you met her that is fine, but again from what I was told it is TWO different people not just Felicia who more than likely is real however it is not "Felicia" that posts all the time.

I am well aware of the generosity that "Felicia" has shown and I think She is a very generous person. I prolly should have made it clear that from What I was told Felicias post is made up by TWO DIFFERENT PEOPLE. My Bad, I try not to go back and edit things I write especially if there is controversy involved.

I apoligize if Ive offended anyone and should have kept my mouth shut since I do not publicly display PM's that I receive. I contacted the person that PM'ed me and asked him to think about sharing with the board what his proof is. Whether he does or not is not up to me.

Again I apoligize to anyone who I might have offended but I am not a trouble maker here and dont "Flame" anyone or disrupt threads, I just got annoyed with what I was told and posted it when I should have kept my mouth shut since I cant show proof.

Felicia ( The Real Felicia ) no disrespect to you, if the truth is that there is a second one of you posting then everything Ive said is directed at you and its really not a big deal just weird in my opinion.

That being said, I am not going to add anything else except that if anyone has a problem with me feel free to PM me or save it until the National and we can handle it anyway you want face to face.

I'm new here but have followed this with interest today. Who is this Felicia? Is she someone's lover? Perhaps I could have my assistant Nicholas research if it would help.

I read through the other thread and have had fair dealings with Felicia... to me none of it should be any concern either way.

However, as a relatively new member here... I hate nothing more than seeing collecting communities ruined because of message board drama! Having been a long time member of eTopps and very active there (on their site and message board, associated sites, activities, etc.)... the message boards there are now a joke and the community/commraderie that existed there from years past... is practically dead and gone.

Personally, I don't care or have a vested interest in all this Felicia talk. Consider me a simple outside observer taking notes... So I only speak up to point out and/or pose two questions/observations...

<< <i>I apoligize if Ive offended anyone and should have kept my mouth shut since I do not publicly display PM's that I receive. >>

Then why even start this thread? What has it accomplished... well, besides creating more drama!

Seriously? Are you really THAT guy? Is this necessary here, or anywhere in society for that matter?

I agree, this is why I was kind of shocked to see that coming from him. Paul has been a great staple on here for a very long time (especially his Perkies!). I understand that I may have took it a little harder than I should have, but the whole Felicia controversy bothers me. By that, I mean I feel that she is defenseless at the moment.

    Eric

I can see your POV - and being new - I might form the same opinion.

I think Paul wanted his message to be seen and not buried - he "was" just trying to apologize.

And the other remark? I think he was just being passionate - perhaps he's been threatened via PMs and is just reacting to that.

Just don't want you to get the wrong idea.

Again - we've got too much drama which has little to do with the hobby - but I guess that's the way it goes sometimes.

I saw a picture that Paul posted of himself, and I for one would strongly recommend that anybody here who is thinking of handling an issue with Paul 'face to face' thing long and hard about choosing an alternative course of action.

I bought a few of each year from that run. None of my packs were resealed. The cards were all consistent (no unusual wax, gum stains, uneven corner wear, etc.). When you open older wax, sometimes you win but usually you lose because of the poor quality control. I think a lot of people had sour grapes from that pack rip. They were expecting the good fortune she had from the vending case.

I know Felicia. I have talked with her and she is a honest person. She enjoys the hobby with her husband. Big deal. I wish my wife (or even my kids) enjoyed my hobby. There is too much negativity on this board for no apparent reason. She was very generous to many people (some of you even took advantage of her kindness). Who complained then? The only time people complained about her was on her threads showing off parts of her collection. It comes off as jealously and chauvinism. She used to have fun posting on the board. She enjoys the hobby. However, would you enjoy going to the board if members challenged your existence or gender or refer to you as "it"?

...it would have been more fun if she really was a dude, and not a tandem.

To the CU board that is getting all pansy about the bickering, lighten up Francis...they're just cards. 50 years from now they will all be worth much less than they are now, and most of you will be dead.

Can you elaborate, Steve? How many cards from 50 ago would you say have "lost value"? Scratch that. Show me ONE card from 50 years ago that has "lost value".

He said 50 years FROM NOW not what has happened in the past 50 years.

Not sure what else I can say. I will be dead in 50 years (that's a fact) and since we have more people leaving the hobby then entering it

IMO what that person said could be true.

I simply said that I could not argue with it.

Hope that clears up any misconceptions.

Ok if you insist 50 years ago is 1960 right? You trying to say that no card from 1960 has gone down in value?

maybe not from 1960 levels when they were a penny a piece but I'm sure that some PSA 8's that were being gobbled up

as low pops sure as heck have gone down especially since the pops have increased.

Not sure what color glasses you are looking through. I'm not too familiar with the 60 set but I know as fact

some 1965 cards have gone down.

If you want me to list a few just ask.

    Steve

    Good for you.

Heck, think of what the last 20 years have done to the hobby. If that kind of decline is sustained for the next 20 years, we'll be lucky to get out of what we put into vintage cards at present day. Supply will definitely outweigh demand and inflation won't even be accounted for.

Unless someone is trying to hump on "Felicia", what difference does it make? As far as I'm concerned, that ID could be a highly skilled ape, and I'd still be impressed with their threads and collection.
