Dear tarheeltreasurehunt,

Your PSA cases are obviously tampered with...And spare the "YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT!" or "I SENT THESE IN TO GRADE MYSELF!" etc

I guess all these scam Ebay sellers are trying to mess with the remaining few legitimate sellers?? I recommend everyone block that one...

Either this is some sort of scam or this person needs help. Either way, keep your distance.

Just ignore and block. It is just easier in the long run.

    That should tell it all.

Who the hell refers to the holders - "slabs" - as "cases?"

    Is this a stalker?

They said to spare the "YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT!" or "I SENT THESE IN TO GRADE MYSELF!"

You should honor that and simpy say "Nice try, but I still won't sleep with you."

    That should irritate them.

    LOL

You obviously went out of your way to find the nicest looking world wide gum card to sneek into this authentic holder! You probably cracked a PSA 7 slab and tampered with this SGC slab just to make your other auctions look more legit. image

And this is what I got back:

    Dear tarheeltreasurehunt,

Haha how typical is that? point out a criminal and they try to put in on you. I guess you wouldnt mind then if I went through your feedback and notified some of your buyers

    - janebeliever09

any ideas for a response to that??

Tell him you welcome it, and would prefer that he does so the buyers can inform him he's an idiot too.

    I was thinking...

You caught me. I have a fake Lou Brock PSA 2! I might acutally get $5 for it (even though it cost me $8 to get it graded)...I should just fold up shop and go home!

You can't defend yourself to an idiot, they would never see the logic. So I would not waste your time trying. Like someone said blocking may be the answer so at least they can't screw with your auctions...

Never argue with idiots, they drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

  • All cards are graded by the BEST grading companies around. I only deal in 4 graders (PSA, SGC, BGS, and BVG). Any card not in one of those holders is not worth the money paid for it!

Looks like the "other graders" are fighting back ! lol

Agree, don't engage the troll. Whoever they are, they're baiting you...they want someone to argue with. Igorning them will frustrtate them more than anything you can say.

    It was all documented here.

Ohhh...the empty case return guy!! That seems like an eternity ago....I almost forgot about him (not really....you never forget the first person who royally tried to s***w you over!) Nice guy he turned about to be.....cracked my cards out and wanted his money back too.......The only negative I received card related........I guess I should have let him have the cards and get his money back....

Edited to add - I am not so sure about the Don Newcombe reference??? Are you saying that the card looks so good that it just HAS to be trimmed??? I think it looks good myself!
  • bobbyw8469bobbyw8469 Posts: 7,144 ✭✭✭
I am guessing by this being your first post that you are someone who has gotten banned at one time or another for acting stupid?
  • Its pretty obvious that the case of Newcombe has been tampered with. I doubt anyone will agree with me, probably all buddy-buddy with each other and doing the same thing, but its obvious. The bottom half of the case especially. Eventually youre going to get busted man, and thats some serious sh*t at these prices, so Id cool it on that.
  • bobbyw8469bobbyw8469 Posts: 7,144 ✭✭✭
You are starting trouble...there is nothing wrong with the case on the Newcombe.....it is a POP 1 of 1.....you can call SGC monday morning and give them the cert # to verify if you want...go away troll!
  • BunchOBullBunchOBull Posts: 6,188 ✭✭✭
The last thing you can say about graded card slabs is that it's obvious when they've been tampered with...the nature of sealing a slab causes hairline frosting on the edge of the case.
Collector of most things Frank Thomas. www.BigHurtHOF.com
  • Somebody have the balls to agree with me...it IS obvious. This guy probably has three accounts all grabasssing each other on here
  • bobbyw8469bobbyw8469 Posts: 7,144 ✭✭✭
That case is not compromised. Unlike you, I have money and can afford to buy nice graded cards and sell them for profit or keep them if I so desire. I dont have to rip people off (unlike you)......anyone with any brains can see the history of the card and what auction house it was purchased from......

PS - I don't think you realize, he WAS NOT agreeing with you...he said the very nature of sealing a case will allow for some frosting. It is when you see it the entire length of a side is what you have to watch out for troll........

So I take it that Rony bought the Newcombe?

Post a scan of the card in the holder, let everyone decide for themselves.

Rony, I'm not buddy - buddy with any one, I don't really know anyone on here.

You do sound like an idoit.
  • bobbyw8469bobbyw8469 Posts: 7,144 ✭✭✭
No Yankees...I own the Newcombe....I have it for sale.....if noone wants it, I will be just as happy to keep it....IF he gets into the HOF (I doubt it, but one never knows), then the card will go up.....
  • Newcombe

    hopefully that worked
  • bobbyw8469bobbyw8469 Posts: 7,144 ✭✭✭
It don't work...but I will put the link on for you troll....I have nothing to hide....

My last reply to this idiocy...

Dude, that case is in no way compromised.
Collector of most things Frank Thomas. www.BigHurtHOF.com
  • bobbyw8469bobbyw8469 Posts: 7,144 ✭✭✭
The bottom part is NORMAL troll.......as part of the sonic sealing process, you won't always get a perfect seal.....if you can get a card in the 1/4" frosting, that you "think" is tampered with, I will give you $5,000!!! (and yes, I do have that much in the bank).......just think...if you had $5,000, then you wouldnt need to scam others with fake cards and whatnot......
  • WinPitcherWinPitcher Posts: 27,726 ✭✭✭
Dude nwhat's the problem? If you feel the case has been compromised simply move on to another auction.

Bobby's reputation on ebay and here for that matter as a seller is pretty high. Yours on the other hand is weak.
