About time a hobby publications publishes something useful.

Hopefully the people who don't visit message boards will be smart enough after reading the article to avoid being burned by Burge.

Believe it or not, not many card collectors are members on message boards.

A lot either don't know about the sites, or simply don't care for them.

Getting the word out through publications is the 1st step in helping them out before they make another bogus purchase.

  • Just commenting on how true the article is.

It is good that they printed a letter to the editor.

Maybe they will do an actual article, in the future.

An article would give consumers some leverage with
EBAY and other online venues. A letter to the editor
    does not really do that.

  • Joe, Nice Job!!!
  • Thanks guys I'm trying as much as I can. I just hope it does like the article says let the buyer beware.

I got thrown out of a Harrisburg NC card shop a week or so ago, because the owner of the store (friend with Burge) and I got into it about Burge.

  • << <i>Was this Burge guy ever on here? >>

Not that I'm aware of. He was on the old Beckett board and is aware of people talking about him on FCB. I'd love for him to come on here. After seeing his arrest record, I have a few funny stabs I'd love to take at him.

Joe- The Hockey patch forger- You mentioned it was on Hobby Kings but he was outed on Hobby Insider.
