Folks Who Bite Get Bitten. Folks Who Don't Bite Get Eaten.
If you look at the high bidder on all of their auctions it's someone (hidden ID of course) with a 1 feedback rating and 100% bid activity with this seller. Not sure what everyone else is looking at....seems as everything is above board with all of these auctions. Stolen pics, 100% negative feedback from the seller, all of sudden selling high end desirable sports cards, and now indisputable shill bidding.....but Ebay will look into this in the next 72 hours. At least I know it's safe to bid on Ebay.
From what I can tell, 707 is the DOLLAR STORE compared to deans_cards. For what that guy charges, if I ever bought anything from him I would expect it to be delivered to me in a frickin' limo. ~WalterSobchak
I alerted Memory Lane....they confirmed this seller does not own all these cards.......I feel sorry for the winning bidders if this follows thru to completion.....

I assume the people that can afford to buy these cards would have a little bit of intelligence. If they have functioning brain cells and are dumb enough to buy from this guy, they get what they deserve.
I am pretty sure it these will end with nobody but a shill winning. They are on a fishing expedition. No matter what anyone says Ebay is shameful for letting auctions like this stay on after alerted to obvious fraud.
Currently completing the following registry sets: Cardinal HOF's, 1961 Pittsburgh Pirates Team, 1972 Pittsburgh Pirates Team, 1980 Pittsburgh Pirates Team, Bill Mazeroski Master & Basic Sets, Roberto Clemente Master & Basic Sets, Willie Stargell Master & Basic Sets and Terry Bradshaw Basic Set
As the Mortal Kombat video game goes--FATALITY- Good job on everyone reporting, I reported them myself and followed up with a message to Memory Lane on each auction, after the first one I sent, they all went away.WOoHooo. Looks like eBay pulled them due to everyones work above! Keep it up boards!
Way to go guys, I had my eye on that Ruth card and was going to snipe it at the last minute. Thanks!

Here's trichardz09's response after I contacted him and told him that I reported every one of his auctions to eBay and had also notified Brad at memorylaneinc:
i sold this card earlier to a man who traveled from philadelphia and he loves the card ,check your serial numbers before you accuse someone..the auction is ended

I'm glad to see eBay pulled every one of his auctions!
Some ask why we take our time reporting these cabrones.
For me, it's the satisfaction of letting the dirtbag know that there are people out there watching! Maybe he'll think twice before relisting ... but probably not.
Granted, we'll NEVER catch them all, but somehow catching them one at a time is just enough to keep the search alive.

PS - The SGC Ted Williams was consigned by me in the last Memory Lane auction....safe to say it was NOT given to her by her Uncle....
This Previous Thread by Morgoth is about the same seller.

As for the cards. I still don't understand why people bid on high dollar cards from sellers with low feedback and no history of selling cards.
Just doesn't make any sense to me.

Maybe a burned buyer will figure out that because
EBAY has long been on notice of the fraud, some
liability may have attached to the company.
In practice, though, virtually no rule-abiding buyer can
be burned on EBAY. PayPal takes the hits.
