I am amazed that ebay allows so many buyers to get ripped off.

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

That's quite an impressive tail of negs he's got there!

What amazes me MORE is how many BUYERS allow themselves to get ripped off!

The seller cleverly covers recent negs from being shown by acquiring 3 months worth of positives from "sellers". I guess most of his buyers are just looking at his recent feedbacks and don't notice that they're from sellers, and then proceed to place bids.

It should be interesting to see what kind of feedbacks he'll be receiving after his current 50+ auctions are completed.

When I first got back into card collecting a few years ago, I mistkingly bought a couple of items off of these fools. Needless to say it took over a month to ship and they never returned e-mails or gave feedback. That was when sellers could still give feedback and import export always held back feedback for retalitory reasons. It is scum like this who caused the feedback system to change. However eBay is so greedy they let the scum perpetuate as they still make them money on every bad sale.

This guy never ships anything I win from him. Stay away!!!

The above feedback is from a person that buys and sells baseball cards.

And may even frequent these very boards.

His Feedback Rating is at 97.2, I still think ebay should have a cut off point that would automatically suspend someone when they get below a certain number.

I know they want the fees, but I wouldn't be suprised that some newbs that have got ripped off by this guy and others like him refuse to buy from ebay anymore.

If my first ebay experience resulted in me losing $$ or I didn't get what I paid for, I probably would assume that ebay was to big of a risk and stayed away.

Agree with the cut off point on feedback %. Seems a lot of buyers don't look at feedback until after they bid, sometimes you just see something you want and get caught up in the auction.

Any seller that has a high number of feedbacks and has a rating of 99.5% or worse, I take a long hard look before I bid.

Sportsamerica is correct. Back on June 15th I posted a thread on these boards informing members that infamous vintage pack counterfeiter (import-export-co.) had changed their id to (iec-co) right after I exposed them on these boards and ebay pulled all their pack listings.

(iec-co) is run by two brothers (Hagobian) out of the Burbank, Ca. area. They have a previous sports memoriabilia fraud conviction out of Fresno, Ca. They also have gang ties and money that is stolen from people on ebay is used to facilitate gang activity. At the time I exposed them for pack fraud back in June they were using five different ebay Id's to carry out their massive fraud on ebay.

I gave ebay indisputable proof that with the use of their five id's they had stolen well over $100,000 from hard working people.
Ebay chose ONLY to pull their current pack listings at that time and let them keep ALL their other Id's (such as worldtradeco) intact.

To this very day these same two brothers are still using multiple Id's to rip off hard working ebay members and ebay KNOWS it's happening.

The OP asks "why do people still buy from this guy?". Two answers:

    1. Ebay provides a safe environment for thieves to flourish with impunity.

    2. Many ebayers are either uneducated, inexperienced or uniformed with regards to the sports memorabilia they buy.

i was sold a card for $50 that didn't meet auction reserve, value was a lot more, he said merry x-mas and i was welcome for the deal, of course he never shipped the card and i had to fight with Paypal to get my money back, luckily he pulled the same crap with a bunch of people so they just did a mass refund, he abandoned that id but it was similar to the import-export-co, that was years ago...

on a unrelated note, I bought a book for a x-mas gift, i was notified 10 days after paying that the seller was shipping (at this point I would never get in time for x-mas), i looked at his feedback and he had 2500 neutrals and 2500 negatives in the past 12 months, unreal, sometimes Ebay just looks at the bottom line and turns their heads. ...5000 neut/negs in 12 months!

Amazing. I guess some people don't look at feedback that closely.

I think percentages should be thrown out and the number of NEGS should be the suspension point. If you sell 10k items a month, you should have the resources to correctly ship and deliver the item. If you do not, then you need to cut back on what you sell until you do have the resources.
IT IS ALWAYS CHEAPER TO NOT SELL ON EBAY
