coinsarefuncoinsarefun Posts: 21,756 ✭✭✭✭✭
I decided to take it out tonight a look through and see if I should
continue/finish or sell them and start with all over again but with slabbed ones.

Needless to say......haven't made up my mind but lets see what others have in
their Dansco 7070 albums......the raw onesimage

Here are only a few.

    First is a toned 1842 Seated Dollar which was graded by ANACS as a AU55. Picked up from Teletrade.
    GORGEOUS Toning!

    Second is a 1868 Seated Dollar bought from Executive Coin company. The price was right and the coin is gorgeous in hand!

    Next is a nicely toned Trade Dollar which was graded by NGC as a MS60.

    Lastly, and one of my favs is a rainbow toned Trime which was graded by PCGS as MS63.

  • You should definitely continue building the set in the album. I imagine (based on what you have shown us) that the set will be quite impressive altogether. Nice work!

    @braddick

    Is this an early Dansco album? Is there a slot for a Kennedy? Obviously made after 1959 but is it before 1964?

    I ask in part because I have an early two volume Whitman blue book shelf set that was made prior to the Kennedy and off hand I need to check if it was prior to the Lincoln Memorial

    Dang! Some of those look pretty close. I am looking at the Flying Eagle and the 3c nickel in particular.
    That would be a fun project.

    Interesting take on a 7070! I heard someone using all key dates for their 7070...

    No 7070 yet but I'll get one eventually, I have a feeling it'll hold the tiny coins more firmly than the Whitman bookshelf album does

    In 09 I was still chasing Ms Libertys however not coin type :D It would be another 9 years before this hobby found me. I’m a late bloomer what must I say.
