Hey all, What have I missed?

Ive been out of the coin loop for awhile now, and have seriously missed this place and all you ragtag membersimage...

So, with that said, Ive bought no new coins, but I did pull a 1999 Close AM Lincoln out of my pocket 3 days ago. Its got a tad bit o brown to it, but enough red to get the red grade. Maybe a 63-64. No rub and no major hits, but its not the best example Ive found in change.

So that was a nice find, but other than that, Its been no coins for... Wow! Close to three months.image

I need a fix...

Anyone get anything new they feel like sharing with the class?

btw, Ive missed you guys and all your antics.....

What's so special about a '99 Close AM?

Wassup Stink!! Tell us what you've been up to. I saw you post in another thread but I figured it was a "retro" postimage

Hope all is well and glad to see you back. Are you sticking around? MJ

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......

Good question, and before I knew, I asked that very same thing...

In the 90's, IIRC, the mint starting spacing the A and M of America on the reverse with the proof strikes. I guess some hubs or dies were then used with this feature on some reg business strike cents. They sell for a couple hundred dollars apiece. I sold two this year, earlier in the year for a good amount of money, espacially considering their from 1999... I hope that is enough basic info to answer your question...image

Glad to have you back, glad the new baby is healthy. In a year he'll be RUNNING to the Christmas tree to rip every ornament off!

My new grandson is 15 days old - next Christmas will be more fun for those boys... and us.

You need a fix for your 3 month dry spell - so what's on your wish list?
Have bought and sold on BST, many references available when asked.

I am reminded of One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest when reading the OP. Must admit, "mental defective" is a moniker that fits many of us all to well. Best not get on the bad side of Nurse Rachett! image

    I have found several 2000 wide AM's in circulation and a 98 but never a 99.
I had the 2000 and a friend had a 98, before the variety was publicised.
