Vinyl coin flips = BAD

I learned a hard lesson this weekend, when I opened an album that I had stored 50 Ike dollars in. I had put them into BCW coin flips and put them into an album for storage about 6-8 months ago. I noticed that all of them - which had been brilliant BU Ikes - now had a cloudy white haze on them! 
After reading the manufaturers product description more closely, they clearly state:
<< <i>If you buy a coin in a soft vinyl flip, you should remove it and place it in another storage medium. One rule of thumb is that no coin should sit in a soft flip for more than six months. >>
Well, I learned a hard lesson, and wanted to share it in hopes of preventing someone else from doing the same thing. The manufacturer's page also states "Early PVC damage can be removed with acetone. " so I may try that, and put the Ike's back into coin tubes.
