Should employees of Coin World be giving out references for advertisers in the magazine?
I was taking a look at the most recent issue of Coin World. For some reason, I started taking a look at the advertisements in the back. One advertisement had a picture of a mustachioed coin dealer (it looks like the picture was from 1976), and it caught my eye.
The advertisement discussed why this dealer was exceptional, how he has not bounced a check ever, and how high his purchase prices are. Then the last line of the ad went something like this: “If you need a referral, please call “Brenda” at Coin World at xxx-xxx-xxxx.”
I thought that this was a bit unusual. Should employees at Coin World be giving out references for advertisers in the magazine, particularly with their phone numbers listed?

That's a great selling point, isn't it?
Perhaps he should also include he's never been convicted of a felony (if correct).
Dentuck, you may perhaps know Mr. Longacre has been the topic, or object (?), of numerous tweets during this past year. The Man himself, via twitter, once replied saying he takes no prisoners. I highly doubt he, The Man, will allow this mythical CW employee to pull one over on him, as you have slyly suggested in your response to this question of utmost importance from our much esteemed Mr. L
