I can tell you what type of album it came out of.... An old blue whitman. I have some coins with the exact toning in an old whitman.
    "It is what it is."
  • Its MS65 with a star. Very nice example.

I know the grade, but why a 65?
  • Just a silly guess. Not sure, but there appears to be a hit on mercs chin. Also some chatter in the tone on the obverse field. If that just tone then i'm wrong. It probably is the tone or just the pic. On the other hand I have seen PCGS MS64's that I thought should be MS66. It can be a tough series to grade.

I dont know this series very well, but if I am correct that is NOT a "Micro S", correct?

No hit on the chin. Toning from the looks of it.
The "crackling" toning can make it hard to grade but it is a clean looking example.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Nope, I was first going to say 66 with a star, and then I thought, that just looks to good for a 66, and upped it to 67.
